Twelve members of Berwyn and District u3a enjoyed a sunny afternoon for our first visit of 2026 to Glan yr Afon in Llangedwyn Near Oswestry. The garden features a 1 acre sloping plot, shrubs, perennial planting, dahlias, roses, a small paddock, and a natural wooded stream.
The garden was magnificent with terraces filled with a vast assortment of shrubs and plants. A summerhouse perched at the top of the garden gave 360 degree views of the Tanat valley.
After looking around the garden we were treated to Chocolate Cake,Strawberry sponge cake and refreshing drinks. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon treat.
