We met at Pete's house late in April after some swapping round of days and months. As usual our members chose a variety of pieces including the following.
- Geoff - Elgar, Cello Concerto Op. 85, played by Jaqueline du Pré with Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim.
- Suzanne - Sibelius, Violin Concerto in D minor Op. 47
- Annabel - Samuel Barber, Agnus Dei sung by Winchester Cathedral Choir
- Brenda - "Art thou not troubled" and "Myfanwy" sung by Eleanor Burnham (Brenda's sister)
- Lin - Mozart, Allegretto from Quintet in E flat major.
- Pete - Gluck. Dance of the Furies and Dance of the Blessed Spirits. Performed by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
- Dave - Eric Coates, Knightsbridge March. (remembering "In town tonight")
- Annabel 2 -Aker Bilk, "Stranger on the Shore"
- Brenda 2 - "Er der Herrlischte von Allen" sung by Eleanor Burnham.
- Lin 2 - Mahler, Adagietto from 4th Movement Symphony No 5 in C sharp minor.
Another enjoyable afternoon rounded off with coffee and biscuits.
