July walk

A walk in the glorious Welsh countryside.

Our July walk began with a short car shuttle from LLandrillo car park to Hendwr, then walking up through the woods to the old bridge and upwards to the stone circle. The weather was perfect and several members of our group decided to extend the route to 7.5 miles. Otherwise it was 5.5 miles with clear tracks (a bit rough in places) or grass fields. Back down to LLandrillo and cups of tea courtesy of our host and walk leader. Thank you Fransis.

Interesting pause at Maureen's Seat to reminisce and enjoy the magic of this private, secluded spot.

Our group, minus photographer, lined up on the old bridge

A chance to get our breath back and admire the distant view while pondering the purpose of the perfect stone circle.
