11 members of the Berwyn and District U3A, Mo's Marauders, sallied forth for a two-day overnight visit, firstly to Tenbury Wells where we enjoyed the delights of the Old Pump Room. This was housed in a most attractive building built in 1862 and refurbished in 1911 offering the waters and bathing facilities.
In 1986, it was bought by Leominster District Council, and a further restoration took place. Subsequently the Pump Rooms were acquired by Tenbury Town Council. It is now the location of the Town Clerk's office, and council meetings and civil wedding ceremonies take place in the main Assembly Rooms.

After lunch in The Feathers, Ludlow we repaired to the Railway Shed a short distance away to sample the wares of the Ludlow Brewing Company. We imbibed a wide range of their products (in very small portions) and left in good condition.
Next, we made our way to The Fountain Inn in Oldwood near Tenbury Wells, our lodgings for the night. After dinner, although there was no ice to be broken, our group were amused and entertained by Don's Ice Breaker quiz which was designed more for amusement than competition. After a very pleasant day, we retired to our beds.

Duly refreshed and reinforced by a very hearty breakfast, we made our way to Tenbury Wells to visit their very small but interesting museum. Our appetites for adventure whetted, we struck off in the direction of Bromyard, there to sample the delights and excites of Ralph Court Gardens. What an assortment! Everything from Dinosaurs to Degas (Sorry – Monet),
Alice in Wonderland with Wind in The Willows and, nearby, Elves, Scarecrows, Pirates and Dragons plus other delights enhanced by a seasonal Halloween display.
A delicious lunch followed in The Ralph Court Restaurant where we mulled over our enjoyment of this happy event for which much thanks are due to Mo for her hard work.
